Do I feel busy?

No, not really. Part of it has to do with the fact that I'm majorly slacking off right now. What a great way to start off the second semester. However, I just barely survived first semester so I better get working. Otherwise, I'm going to have a horrible second semester. I guess I'm just stressing out...nah. I don't even feel any pressure. This is what slacking so long has done to me. :P Oh well. I better get working on something just so I can keep my mind busy.

Manifesto...to write or not to write?

Wow...that was a lame title. Also not counting the fact that Hamlet's famous saying was actually contemplating suicide...>.>

ANYWAYS, so I just recently "skimmed" through this book and it said one of the things I should do before I finish high school was write a manifesto. Well, my friend suggested it first after a I started ranting about the stupidity of wanting world peace. At first, I said, "...what's a manifesto?" After learning what it actually is, I decided to give it a try. So far, it looks like a mess of words. An organized mess of words but nevertheless....a mess of words.

So I'm still thinking about whether I shuld continue it or not. I mean, how awesome would it be to say that I wrote a manifesto? But I'm stuck and I just can't find the time. -sigh- I'll figure something out...I hope.

It's Been a While

Wow...it's been a while. :P

Some updates:

-junior year snuck up behind me and bit me in the butt = a whole load of hw I do not want to deal with
-HGT ^^ (not really an update but whatever)
-swimming is crazy. It's good...but crazy.
-I've been on sugar highs lately. Now, before you blame the Halloween candy, I can assure you that it was not. I didn't go trick-or-treating.
-I love Google Reader. It's the one way for me to keep up with what's going on today.
-I'm hungry...but that's not new.
-I finally finished the OPP. I still need to memorize it.
-The debate about drama or creative writing has begun! So...which one do I take? XD

That's really all for now...I'm tired and it's almost 12.

Oh...the pain! -cue melodramatic music-

Okay...so I just swam more than 3 miles continuous for about 1 hour and 30 minutes...and my arms are in semi-pain. But it was pretty awesome overall. I could kick...that's a bonus! ^^

The reason I haven't been updating lately is due to the homework load the teachers decided to dump on me and all of the extracurricular activities I picked up.

Not much has really been going on in my life...it's just the plain old life of Dee. Fun fun fun.

OH DANG!!

Yeah...it's been a while since my last post. Well...some exciting news:

I actually made it to mod! XD
Swim team is killing me!
The physics test wasn't horrible!
My physics teacher actually tricked me into reading this huge physics scientific journal!

Okay...two of the above are definitely not exciting nor positive in any way (well, it does depend on your perception and all but I'd rather not get into that right now).

So while I've been carelessly looking at the blogs that I set up a long time ago. Yes...I have been neglecting all of them. Thanks to a few friends, I've managed to revive...2 of them. But out of 3, it's pretty good. Er...yeah, I need to go to sleep now.

PS: Junior year sucks! >.<

Advertising Time! XD

It's not actually advertisement but more like a....promotion! Yeah...I'm going to be promoting some of my favorite sites.

1) Hunger Games Trilogy: www.hungergamestrilogy.com
- It's my home away from home.
- Actually read the book(s) before you join though.
2) Vampire Academy Fan Forum: http://vampacademyseries.proboards.com
- That's my lame excuse for promoting the forum I actually created. There's literally no one there so if you read the series and liked it...please join.
3) Yahoo!: www.yahoo.com
- Ok, that's another dud. But I really do like Yahoo....keeps me up-to-date.
4) Fanfiction.net: www.fanfiction.net
- Well...if you like to write fanfiction, go there!
5) filler space! :P
6) Google: www.google.com
- Seriously? Who doesn't like google?
7) Internet Movie Database: www.imdb.com
- The site I always go to whenever I want to look up random movies (and their quotes/trivia/goofs) or random actors.

That's all for now...I think.

Uh-oh

Oops! I forgot to post...>.>. I'm so sorry but I've been really busy lately so I haven't had the time to actually post. Plus, we now have this time slot thing for my computer...which means really limited time to get on the blog. I apologize in advance if nothing happens here but at least you all know why!...right?

The Flight

Airplane rides are tedious...if you have to sit 10+ hours. When I was younger, I always had a stomachache. Now, it's the turbulence and the long hours sitting in a narrow chair surrounded by people. The positives and negatives:

+ The food: Who knew? Airplane food can actually improve...well, EVA's does.
+ The entertainment system: It's a personal system which is very, very awesome. Their movies are updated every month and they update their music pretty frequently so you can expect some of their top hits in the system.
+ The quality reading time: When you have nothing to do but sit, just pick up a book! Or two...maybe three...I read 5. Yep, that's right, 5. So make sure you pack a lot of books! =D

- The turbulence: Time change is a pain in the a**. Turbulence is a b****. On the way to Taiwan, we hit a rough patch in Japan. The plane was jumping around for a good 30 minutes and all I could think about was how we were not going to crash...actually I was convincing myself that. On the way back home, we hit another rough patch once again by Japan. But this time they were serving food. So although the turbulence was softer, my stomach was protesting from the mixture of incoming food and turbulence.
- No space: I'm fairly tall so when I'm sitting, I like to stretch out my legs. With the airplane seats so close, I was cramped up and could not extend my legs (much to my disappointment). It's just crowded...'nuff said.

So that's post 1 out of a series! XD

I'm Back!!

No, seriously, I'm back. As in back home. Yes, after two weeks in Taiwan, I have loads to say. In order to avoid stretching the page (for the sake of many who read...which totals at 5), I will write a series of posts over a stretch of days. Stupid, yes, I know, but it 1) saves a whole load of space and 2) gives me a chance to finish my goal! =D Happy reading!

Recommendations!

As my trip is rounding out to the last stretch, there are a few recommendations for those who will potentially go to Taiwan.

1) Taipei 101: No brainer...but I suggest you go in the late afternoon so that you can take pics of Taipei in the day and Taipei in the night.

2) Din Tai Fung: Amazing dumplings. I'm serious; I could never get sick of it. There is one in LA but some dispute that the one in Taiwan is a lot better. Note: the lines to get in are really long and sometimes have an hour wait. But it's worth it, believe me.

3) If you like shopping, Wu Fen Pu: I don't even like shopping but any place that sells majority of their clothing around $3 definitely has my attention. There are also a few places where you can buy food and if it ever rains, the area has an overhang so never fear! XD

4) This really good place that has amazing noodles: Eh...no exact location...sorry. I only know about it because my uncle brought it back to the apartment. It's delicious XD!

These are the essential recommendations. So, if you're ever in Taiwan, check these places out!
