Okay, so I've been holding off. I'm sorry! It's just a lot harder than I thought it would be. But I have decided to make a semi-speech, semi-commentary on today's quote:

And my response:

I can't really seem to classify this quote as funny. It has a little more of a serious edge. Anyways, on to the speech. How do we classify beliefs? Sure it's something we believe in but seriously, how should we classify it? Should we classify it by one's culture, one's heritage, one's individuality, one's religion or one's something of another? And if we choose to view one's culture, do we view the culture that the person grew up with or the culture that had been inherited by the person's parents? And yes, heritage and culture inherited are two different subjects. Heritage has to do with ancestry. Culture that is inherited is more of something you learn from your parents. Big difference. You see, the second option does not include anything about ancestry but more with environment your parents create. Then, we can argue about the pessimism about this quote. It actually reeks of pessimism. Or maybe it's just insecurity. Anyways, it doesn't sound like there's much confidence at all and that the author...oh, I'm out of time. Never mind. But it was still pretty lengthy so I'm good! Hehe....tune in for the next one (I think)!

Wow, umm, I don't really know what to say except that Dan Quayle does not have a lot of faith in whoever the President is. Of course, since we have no idea when he said this quote or who he was talking about, I'm just gonna have to wing it. Uh,...nothing. But I would like to add a little comment: If he was talking about Herbert Hoover (don't think he was alive then, but still...we never know who he was talking about) or Richard Nixon, then he's got it right.

Connections

So...I was watching an episode of House when I started to make connections between the episode and Breaking Dawn. I know, obsessed Twilight fan. But really, there was nothing about some half-breed baby that tried to claw out of its mother stomach. No, more of the maternal instinct that the character had. The character was willing to do anything, even die, to save her baby. Sound familiar? Yeah, there's a Bella-esque example for you!

New Stuff-ers

So some changes I need to make:

• I do have Breaking Dawn now (which I finished).
• I am entirely hooked by the House of Night Series (totally elated that there will be nine books, probably. More to look forward to!).
• I want Brisingr which is now officially out.
• It's not really a change but I don't think I'll make the 100 post mark (that does not mean that I will change my goal. I will do everything in my power and time to get there, even if no one notices it).

Changes

So, as many people have noticed...or not(refer back to "The Deserted Blog"), I have made many changes in my blog. For one, more posts. Hopefully, I can at least reach 100 posts by the anniversary of this blog (which no one would ever celebrate because they have no idea that the blog even exists. Wow, so much pessimistic thoughts.

I Know, I Know

I know I said it was useless but to me, it's kinda like something I can write in without the risk of one of my cousins reading it (they don't know about it). So latest news:

• I still haven't got Breaking Dawn *weeping* but the anxiety is killing me. But...no spoilers (if that's even possible-check back to "The Deserted Blog" for reference)
• I came back from my trip to Taiwan hence the long period of time that I have not wrote a thing.
• School started again so I'm even lucky that I can squeeze this in and

The Deserted Blog

Yeah, yeah. So, why do I still have this relatively useless blog? I don't know...maybe it'll be of some function in the near future...most likely far future. I know, I know...I'm wasting my time writing stupid posts that no one will ever read. Trust me, that's me. Don't really care what other people think, I just...you know...do it. Eh...yeah...

Very Happy

Thankfully, the Breaking Dawn Countdown is up and running...down. For the last few days, I have been extremely curious as to why it wasn't working. Oh well, at least it's working again! That's all...I think...

Just Realized

Wow...two posts in one day. Only time I did that was the first day. Anyways, my point for this post is that I just realized that I haven't watched Numb3rs or House or Charmed for a really long time. That's not good. Luckily for me, my mom records House for me and the new season of Numb3rs isn't out until Sept...I think. As for Charmed, I'm pretty sure TNT will keep showing reruns.

Little Time

Again, I write this in the meager time I have left. So, before I go on my trip, I will try to post as much as possible...that's hard. Anyways, I'm just excited that there is less than 10 days left before Breaking Dawn comes out. But then, there is summer homework and I still have a lot to do. I try not to procrastinate but in the end, I always do...

Really Behind

Well, due to the fact that I was in a 10-day camp and my cousins keep bugging me, I believe that some slack is called for. My cousins are dragging me away from the computer and I have only a few minutes to write this post before they come back. I'm typing as fast as I can. I have added to components to this blog: a Breaking Dawn countdown and a Twilight movie countdown. I did mention that I was obsessed with Twilight...here's proof. Sadly, I will not be able to post any blogs during August with the exception of the rare few who make it through. An explanation will come later. I think that's all. Is this my longest post?

Not Much To Say

Except that I am very excited that my cousins are coming. They were supposed to be here tomorrow. Instead, we're picking them up tonight!

P.S. You've probably noticed how the blogs keep getting shorter and shorter...sorry, I really don't have that much to say.

After a chilly morning...

The sun didn't show until 11:30! For most of the morning and some of the afternoon, I was cold... and that's pretty rare. Luckily, for afternoon practice, it was much warmer. Umm, I don't have much to talk about except for today's weather...that's all. Until tomorrow...

For Now

Currently, I'm watching the track-and-field Olympic trials but at 9, I'm immediately going to change the channel to watch House...it's tonight! Anyways, there's not too much else to say except that I'm sad that I missed the swim trials...that would have been fun to watch especially with all those new world records thanks to Speedo's LZR.

Schedule!

Last night, I received my class schedule for the next school year and I sent out e-mails to everyone I knew...that goes to my school...and today, I have a new flood of e-mails and I am very excited to look through them. After all, who doesn't want to know what/who your friends have. I am so excited because I have good teachers...well, nice ones. But hey, most of the teachers are good anyways! Keeping to my promise...for the 7th(?) day. That's about a week! Wow...didn't think I could last this long...

After an extremely long day...

I'm exhausted. After coming home from Valley Splash, I slept for three hours. Completely out. But there is only one thing that can sum up my day...I hate Ryan...and karma is awesome! That's about it. Now, I think I'll go back to sleep. G'night.

Trying Hard

In an attempt to keep to my promise, I'll write about something random...nothing. But at least I managed to make it in before 12. After a relatively long day, I can proudly say that I extremely tired and ready to go to sleep. After this.

Experimenting

Lately, I have been experimenting with whatever possible. I have unsuccessfully tried to create a website (or few) and not to mention, the keeping of this blog. All of this is going to add on to my to-do list for the summer...and I don't think I can complete it. But hey, at least it'll keep me busy. G'night to all and tomorrow, there should be more...if I keep to my promise...

Bored

Due to the fact that I truly don't have that much to do, I decided to blog at a rather early (for me) hour. I am excited for all the events that are about to come (summer camp, trip to Taiwan) that I forget frequently. Really frequently. I am also extremely happy that the final installment of the Twilight Saga will be out in about 36/37 days. At the same time, I'll feel sad. After all, it is the last book in the series and I would hate for it to end. But for the time being, excitement will probably overrule my life...*sigh*...

Okay...

It's time to keep my promise. So, a little addition... I am obsessed with the Twilight Saga, Harry Potter books, and Shel Silverstein poems. I love three specific TV shows: House, Numb3rs, and Charmed. Movies that I really badly want to see are Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Get Smart, Kung-Fu Panda, and Iron Man. Yep...that's all for today. Just a little bit more about me.
